Well, its been awhile since I last wrote about starting. I have 68 more days till I check into Vista Way in Orlando. So far I haven't packed anything yet, but I did have my graduation party. I was very happy with the turn out. I got enough money to take down with me for the first few weeks I'm down there. I won't get paid right way but now I won't have to worry about it.
So I had an idea to make a bucket list for my program of all the things I want to do, so here it goes....
1. Get a picture taken with all the Disney characters or get really close
2. See all 54 possible story lines in the new Star Tours ride :)
3. Try to spot a lot of celebrities that come to the parks.
4. Try to talk to those celebrities
5. Go to Sea World at least once
6. Go to Universal Studios at least once (Hollywood Studios is better but I'm there and I never been there)
Not much there but enough to get started with. Soon as I get more news or get closer to the date posts will really start coming. Until then, "Have a Magical Day."

Counting down the days...133 days to go.
Well, hello everyone. If you are one of my facebook friends you know I have written 3 notes about my Disney College Program. I thought I should move it over here to make this more official.
So, 133 days till I check in at Vista Way in Orlando Florida. I still have a long way to go before that day comes but at the same time I so much stuff to do. I still have 3 weeks till I graduate from Vincennes University. i have my older brother's wedding in mid May, my Uncle's wedding in Panama City Beach late July. Plus, on top of all that I need to find a job this summer to save up some money to take down there with me.
I have been reading blogs after blogs of former CP's who have went through the program. I get so excited reading them thinking soon this will be my life. But at the same time its so far away. I do have some news that I may not be going alone down there. One of my friends got accepted today to be in the same role as I am, merchandise. It was weird that 30 mins earlier I just sent Disney an email asking them if I could work at the Hollywood Studios. Really I asked to work at the Star Wars (nerd coming out) because I could connect with the guest there. I'm still waiting to see if she accepts it or not but I have a feeling she will.
God has really blessed me with this opportunity to be able to do this. If everything goes to plan I'll be applying to the Professional Internship which could open alot of doors for me. But that is a blog for a later time. I did read one blog today that she had a really good idea. She kept score of how many times she went to each park, and how my kids she helped stop crying. I think the one thing I look forward to is making kids and parents smile. This is going to be great, but at the same time I will be missing my family and Brittany. I'm lucky to have her in my life she has been the most supportive through all of this.
